چکیده
The Ciparanje inland aquaculture area has emerged as a hub for breeding ornamental fish, with koi fish being prominent species. increasing demand led to surge in businesses. What sets apart from some other species is their ability breed throughout the year, unaffected by specific seasons. However, natural habitat, typically spawn at onset of rainy season, triggered enticing aroma soil. growth influenced various factors, including species, genetic characteristics, feeding efficiency, disease resistance, and environmental conditions such water feed quality, well stocking density. To ensure production top-quality fry, it crucial employ appropriate spawning techniques. In this study, participative approach was employed investigate report on procedures area, managed Padjadjaran University. method implemented encompasses several processes, preparation ponds, selection stock, egg hatching, larvae rearing. A total 90,175 eggs were collected examined broodstock during activities, an impressive 80% these successfully hatched. calculated Hatching Rate (HR) reached 96.5%, indicating high level achievement hatching larvae.

Detection of Koi Herpesvirus in Koi Cyprinus carpio in Taiwan
Mass mortality occurred in 2-year-old koi (fancy carp)Cyprinus carpio in Taiwan in 2002. Affected fish did not show any external signs except swollen gills. The consistent histological changes were observed in the gills; hyperplasia of epithelial cells, infiltration of eosinophilic granular cells and fusion of the secondary lamellae. Nega tively stained nucleocapsids were icosahedral and 112±1 ...
متن کاملStabilisation of scoliosis in two koi (Cyprinus carpio).
Two koi (Cyprinus carpio) from the same pond developed similar lesions of scoliosis. Radiographic examinations showed that their spines had become malaligned as a result of vertebral compression fractures involving T14 to T16. The vertebrae in both fish were stabilised with screws, k-wire and polymethylmethacrylate. They both appeared to improve after surgery, but they began to decline and died...
متن کاملImmune Response to Koi Herpesvirus (KHV) of Koi and Koi × Red Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio)
Koi herpesvirus (KHV), also known as Cyprinid herpes virus 3 (Cyprinid 3) is lethal disease in common carp and koi (Cyprinus carpio). Two different groups (KK and RK) were infected KHV by intraperitoneal injection. Fish for gene expression analysis were sampled at 0 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h and 72 h post infection (p.i). The results showed that two immune related gene, Interferons (INFs) ɑβ and Inte...

Fish, like mammals, can be affected by neoplastic proliferations. As yet, there are only a very small number of studies reporting on the occurrence of tumours in koi carp Cyprinus carpio koi and only sporadic reports on the nature of the tumours or on risk factors associated with their development. Between 2008 and 2012, koi with abdominal swelling were examined pathologically: neoplastic lesio...
متن کاملKinematics, hydrodynamics and energetic advantages of burst-and-coast swimming of koi carps (Cyprinus carpio koi).
Koi carps frequently swim in burst-and-coast style, which consists of a burst phase and a coast phase. We quantify the swimming kinematics and the flow patterns generated by the carps in burst-and-coast swimming. In the burst phase, the carps burst in two modes: in the first, the tail beats for at least one cycle (multiple tail-beat mode); in the second, the tail beats for only a half-cycle (ha...
